What is Hydro Graphics?
Hydrographics is a unique and cutting edge process that provides a complete 360-degree transfer of a film onto 3-D surfaces, virtually eliminating seams. It can be applied to just about anything that is hard surfaced and non-porous, such as most plastics, metals, fiberglass, and hard woods. We have over 300 film patterns to choose from, including camouflage, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, granite, marble, and wood grains. Our Hydrographic team is able to serve the needs of volume based customers or manufactures. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or stop in to receive a free estimate.
How Hydro Graphics Works
Hydrographics essentially involves a 3-step process.
First, the item is sanded, primed, and base coated to correspond with the color of the film. The film is then floated on the water surface, and a chemical activator is applied causing the film to evenly dissolve in an oil-like state.
Second, the item is then immersed into the water where the upward pressure causes the film to wrap around every

corner, no matter how complex the shape. Once the item has been dipped, it is washed and top-coated with a urethane clear coat for a scratch resistance finish. Flat, matte, and high gloss finishes are available.
Our urethane finishes meet the most demanding standards for hardness, UV resistance, chemical resistance, and adhesion
